Since 1941 members of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries, Inc. have been making a difference, particulary in the lives of children in commnunities throughout the South. From implementing projects to gathering for chapter meetings, Junior Auxiliary members have cultivated a tradition of service that often includes good food and gracious hospitality. This volume of recipes is hand selected from the chapter cookbooks and private collections of members of more than one hundred NAJA chapters. It represents a down-home heritage with an uptown flavor and is delightfully sprinkled with short stories and fond memories of JA members as they worked together to improve tomorrow.
